My puppy got bit in the face by a larger dog (over a toy, not a fight). It was after hours and everywhere I tried to call either did not after hours visit or wouldn't see him as he wasn't "their patient". Finally, at 8pm I called Durham veterinary clinic. After sending pictures and conversation on the phone, the Doctor agreed to meet me at the clinic to evaluate the puppy, even if he couldn't provide treatment that night (there was concern about a cracked jaw). And even though the puppy wasn't "his patient", as some of the other clinics said. I was very worried, probably overly so, but he agreed to meet us and evaluate to provide me peace of mind. He was very compassionate to my puppy and very thorough in his examination. Luckily, there was no serious damage done and puppy was okay. But it meant more than I can find the words to say that he met me late at night to see a puppy he had never seen before. I intend to transfer all of my pets care to this clinic, they truly care about pets.

I absolutely love Durham Vet Clinic and it’s staff. The staff is very professional and I have trusted them with the care of my dog, Kobe for the past 10 year or more. I would not take Kobe to any other place for vet care or boarding.
